Establishment
Leaders from different businesses in the beef production chain met to debate a uniform and transparent way of adopting common standards and practices for Brazilian livestock farming.

Constitution
The Sustainable Livestock Working Group (GTPS) was officially created to debate ideas for fair production. Consisting of 20 members from different categories, reinforcing our plurality.

The field
We selected seven projects in five Brazilian states and the indirect impact of this initiative reached 800 producers in an area of around 800 thousand hectares.
2014
Global Reference
Our initiative encouraged the creation of the Global Sustainable Beef Table (GRSB) and initiatives in 12 other countries.
2015
MIPS
The Map of Sustainable Livestock Initiatives was created, a showcase of sustainable actions by producers and companies taking place in different regions of Brazil.
2016
GIPS
The Sustainable Livestock Indicators Guide was created, a platform to disseminate knowledge, evaluate and measure sustainability in the sector.

Governance
We started a review of our governance system, with a focus on bringing increasingly more transparency and management aligned with the expectations of members.

Public Commitment
Together with our associates, we made a public commitment in favor of sustainable livestock farming.

International Presence
We joined the GRSB Executive Committee aiming at elevating regional points of view to a global-level discussion.

New name
We are officially the Brazilian Table of Sustainable Livestock.
The name GTPS has remained in our history. The new brand concept demonstrates and honors our entire history, but also represents a new phase. It reinforces our mission to promote the sustainable development of Brazilian livestock, while standardizing with the other 12 tables around the world.
